The formal document · what ArrowMem does and does not do
These are the terms you agree to when you use ArrowMem.
The version above is the value recorded against your consent. If you agreed to an earlier version, that is the one that applies to you until you agree to this one.
Service: ArrowMem. Provider: ArrowMem Inc., operating as ArrowMem. Registered office: 1300B-350 Bay St., Toronto, ON, Canada M5H 2S6. Contact: support@arrowmem.ca.
The party you are contracting with is ArrowMem Inc., a corporation incorporated under the Canada Business Corporations Act. ArrowMem is the name it operates under, and it is the name you see in the product. Where these terms say "we" or "us", they mean ArrowMem Inc.
By using ArrowMem you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.
ArrowMem helps you write, in your own words, structured material for tasks you choose. Some of what it helps with comes from an optional pack - for example, the Veterans Affairs Canada disability benefits application (form PEN 923) or the Canada Pension Plan disability benefit application (form ISP-1151). Each pack asks its own questions and helps shape your answers into the sections its form asks for; see "Veterans disability claim and Canada Pension Plan disability packs" below for what's specific to those.
You must be of the age of majority in your province of residence. The service is offered in Canada.
It is not a government department. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Veterans Affairs Canada, Service Canada, the Government of Canada, any government department, or any veterans or disability advocacy organisation. Veterans can connect with Veterans Affairs Canada for help at any time, free of charge: Disability benefits.
It does not submit anything for you and it does not speak to any department on your behalf.
It is not legal, medical, financial or professional advice, and using it does not create a legal representation or advocacy relationship on your behalf. See "Veterans disability claim and Canada Pension Plan disability packs" below for anything specific to those.
It makes no assessment of, and no representation about, your condition, your history, your entitlement, your assessment level, or your eligibility for any benefit. Those decisions are made by the relevant government department - Veterans Affairs Canada for a disability benefits claim, Service Canada for a Canada Pension Plan disability claim - and that process is separate from and unaffected by this service.
It will not write your claim for you. It helps you shape what you said. The words stay yours, which is what makes them worth reading.
Signing in uses Google or a code sent to your email address. We do not ask you to create a password.
You are responsible for the devices you enrol and for keeping access to them. Adding a second device is what stops the loss of one device from locking you out.
What you write is yours. Your answers and your finished draft belong to you. You may print, save, copy into the relevant official form, submit it to the government department it's meant for, or share your draft with a healthcare provider, a representative or a legal advisor.
While you are working, your unfinished draft sits in the browser on the device you are using. It is not saved on our servers, and we cannot recover it for you. A browser can clear its own storage without warning. Export or print anything you want to keep.
What the service itself is made of is ours. The software, the design, the question sets we authored and the way the draft is assembled remain the property of ArrowMem Inc. You may not copy, redistribute, resell, reverse engineer, or build a competing service out of them. The questions and criteria any government benefits pack uses - such as Veterans Affairs Canada's PEN 923 form and Table of Disabilities, or the Canada Pension Plan disability application and its adjudication criteria - are public Government of Canada documents and are not ours. Some of our work is published as open source, and it sits outside this paragraph on purpose: where we release code or a document under an open licence, that licence is what governs it, and it grants rights this paragraph would otherwise withhold. Each such release carries its own licence with it, and that licence is the one to rely on. If this paragraph and one of those licences disagree, the licence governs.
There are no forums, no groups you can post in, and no way to message another user. Nothing you write is visible to another user of this service.
One thing belongs here as well as in the Privacy Policy, because it is the point of the product. When you use an online option, your words travel through our servers to the AI service that writes the answer. ArrowMem does not store them on its servers. The server writes no record of your answers or your generated report, the tables that used to hold that content have been destroyed, and a test in our build fails if a change tries to reintroduce one.
Use the service lawfully, for your own purposes. Do not use it to infringe anyone's rights, to interfere with the service, to circumvent usage limits, or through automation.
If you put work that is not your own, or another person's personal information, into ArrowMem, you are responsible for having the right to do so, including under your institution's rules and any consent the law requires.
When you describe your situation and how it arose, give only what is needed to explain it. Do not include information that identifies another person without their consent, or information you are under a legal or professional obligation to keep confidential. If the pack you are using has its own guidance on what to include, follow that too - see "Veterans disability claim and Canada Pension Plan disability packs" below.
The draft is produced by an AI model from what you wrote. It can be wrong. If you answered by voice, the transcription is automated and can also be wrong.
You are responsible for reading, correcting and confirming everything before it goes anywhere. Nothing is submitted automatically and no decision about you is made by automated means.
Providing false or misleading information in a government benefits application can carry legal consequences under the law that applies to that program. This service is built to reformat what you state, never to add to it.
If the assistant produces something offensive, harmful or wrong, report it from inside the app. A person reads those reports. If an answer in the product is wrong, that is a defect and we want to know: support@arrowmem.ca.
The vault on your own device is free. So is Everyday chat in Canada, from a one-time allowance. A daily limit applies as well, and it starts over each day. No card is needed to start.
In the app, two things cost money and both are optional: the paid plans, which renew every month until you cancel; and the top-up packs, which are paid once and do not renew. You can cancel a plan any time from your account: renewal stops, and you keep the plan until the end of the month you paid for.
Current prices, what each plan includes and any limit on its use are set out on the Pricing page. The plans and top-up packs are priced in Canadian dollars, plus applicable tax. Tax is added at checkout and shown before you pay.
Payments are processed by Stripe through Stripe's checkout. Your card details are entered with Stripe. We do not see them and we do not store them. By paying you also agree to Stripe's terms governing the payment itself.
Refunds. You can get a full refund within 14 days of paying: write to billing@arrowmem.ca. After 14 days, the month you paid for is not refunded, but you can cancel so that it does not renew.
Top-up packs. A top-up pack you have not used can be fully refunded within 14 days of paying: write to billing@arrowmem.ca. After 14 days, or once you have used part of it, unused credit stays on your account and does not expire; it is not refunded in cash, except that we refund a remaining balance of $5 or less on request. To know your remaining credit, write to billing@arrowmem.ca.
Nothing in this section limits any right you have under the consumer protection law of your province, which applies whatever this document says.
We may change, suspend or withdraw features. We try not to break things and we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
The service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.
We build real security controls, described in the Privacy Policy, and we test the ones a test can catch. We do not promise, and we do not believe any business handling information like this can honestly promise, that it will never be exposed. The tools available to attack a system like this one change faster than any defense stays permanently ahead of. What we run today is the strongest setup we know how to build, kept current as that changes. It is a best-effort safeguard, not a guarantee, and you use the service on that basis.
This is said directly, not softened into boilerplate. Assume that anything you put into any online service, including this one, could someday be exposed, and do not include what you would not be willing to say to someone directly. Using this service does not require you to accept a risk you have not been told about, which is the entire reason this paragraph exists.
This service is not a crisis service and it is not monitored for crisis intervention.
To the extent the law allows, ArrowMem Inc., its directors, employees and service providers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising out of your use of the service. Your primary remedy is to stop using it.
This section does not limit liability that cannot be limited by law, and it does not deprive you of a mandatory protection under the consumer protection or privacy law of your province.
You agree to hold ArrowMem Inc. harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the service, or out of inaccurate or incomplete information you submit to a government department.
These are three different things and we keep them apart.
Withdrawing your consent is yours to do, at any time, from your account settings. It stops us processing your words. It does not close your account and it does not delete your work.
Closing your account is also yours to do, at any time, from inside the app or by writing to support@arrowmem.ca.
We may suspend or close an account for a breach of these terms, for suspected abuse of the service, or for fraudulent activity.
These terms are governed by the law of Ontario and the federal law of Canada applicable there. Disputes go to the courts of Ontario.
Nothing here deprives you of the protection of a mandatory consumer protection or privacy provision of the law of your province of residence.
If any provision is unenforceable, it is limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary and the rest stays in force. These terms, with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and ArrowMem Inc. about your use of the service.
We may update these terms. The date at the top will change. Continued use after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
This version is English. A French version is required before this service is offered in Quebec, and for users in Quebec the French is the operative text.
There is deliberately no clause saying the English version prevails. It was removed from our documents earlier this year and it has not been reinstated.
support@arrowmem.ca. A person reads it.
ArrowMem Inc., operating as ArrowMem. 1300B-350 Bay St., Toronto, ON, Canada M5H 2S6.
This section only applies if you use the Veterans disability claim pack or the Canada Pension Plan disability pack. If you use neither, nothing in this section applies to you.
Veterans disability claim pack. The disability benefits application you complete is Veterans Affairs Canada's form PEN 923. Its questions and the Table of Disabilities criteria used to help shape your answers are public Government of Canada documents; they are not ours. Using this pack does not create a Veterans Service Officer relationship, legal representation, or advocacy on your behalf, and your finished draft is submitted to Veterans Affairs Canada by you, not by us.
Operational security, Veterans disability claim pack. When you describe your service-related conditions and how they arose, give only what is needed to explain the injury or illness. Do not include classified, protected or operationally sensitive information: no operation names, deployment locations, unit movements, tactics, capabilities, or details identifying other personnel. Your application does not require them, and this service is not an authorised environment for classified or protected material. Any security obligations that continue to apply to you after release remain yours. If you are unsure whether something belongs, describe the effect on your body or mind rather than the circumstances that caused it.
Providing false or misleading information to Veterans Affairs Canada in a benefits application can carry consequences under the Veterans Well-being Act and related legislation. This service is built to reformat what you state, never to add to it.
Canada Pension Plan pack. The disability benefit application you complete is Service Canada's form ISP-1151, for the Canada Pension Plan disability benefit. Its questions and the adjudication criteria used to help shape your answers are public Government of Canada documents; they are not ours. Using this pack does not create a legal representation or advocacy relationship on your behalf, and your finished draft is submitted to Service Canada by you, not by us. This helper is for the Canada Pension Plan disability benefit. It does not cover the Québec Pension Plan, which is run by Retraite Québec.
Providing false or misleading information in a Canada Pension Plan disability application can carry consequences under the Canada Pension Plan Act and other applicable federal law. This service is built to reformat what you state, never to add to it.
ArrowMem also operates a separate, public developer API (the MCP server) that anyone can call directly, with or without an ArrowMem account. It is a different surface from the app these terms otherwise describe: it does not read or write anything in your account or your vault, and using it does not require you to have one.
Ten tools are free and require no key. Four tools require a paid key, purchased through Stripe. This document's payment and refund terms apply to that purchase the same way they apply to any other payment on this service.
You are responsible for what you do with a key issued to you, the same as any other API credential: keep it secret, and if it is lost, request a replacement rather than sharing one.
We may suspend or revoke a key for a breach of these terms, for abuse of the service, or for fraudulent activity.
Is It Really Me lets someone holding your family link ask whether it is really you on a call, and lets you answer from your own phone. It is a signal between two people who already know each other. It is not identity verification, it is not proof of who is on a call, and it must not be relied on as either.
An answer means only that somebody holding the phone at that number pressed a button. A check can go unanswered, arrive late, or not arrive at all: a phone can be off, out of coverage, or out of battery, and delivery of a text or a notification is not something anyone can guarantee. Treat no answer as no information, never as a yes and never as a no.
Your family link is a credential. Anyone holding it can cause your phone to be paged, so give it only to people you would want to hear from and keep it somewhere only you can reach. If it gets loose, replace it: a new link is issued and the old one stops working. We do not keep a copy that can be shown to you a second time, so a link you lose is replaced, not recovered.
There are limits, and we may enforce them: three asks in fifteen minutes through one link, and, separately, at most six of your own machine's alerts an hour. Every text sent spends one call from your plan, the same as any other paid call, and a request refused for hitting a limit sends nothing and costs nothing.
Do not use this to page somebody who has not asked you to. Using a link to harass, alarm or repeatedly disturb a person is a breach of these terms and we may revoke the key behind it.
Paste Guard is a free browser extension. It is provided at no charge and there is no subscription attached to it. Nothing in these terms about payment or refunds applies to it.
It is a helper, not a control. It looks for a small number of patterns and it will miss things: a pattern it was not written for, a format it does not recognise, a site not on its list, or a site that has changed since the rule for it was written. It is not a data loss prevention system, it is not a compliance measure, and it must not be relied on as either. What you send remains your decision and your responsibility.
It works on a short list of named sites, and its toolbar badge says so when it cannot see the message box on a page it was meant to watch. It is provided as is, without warranty. We are not liable for anything you send, whether it warned you or not.
It is our extension and our name. You may install and use it freely. Do not redistribute a modified copy under our name, and do not present a fork of it as ours.
Nothing in this document promises an outcome on a claim, and nothing in it makes ArrowMem your representative before any government department.
